We are looking to employ an Accountant on a  full time basis to oversee and run our accounting department. The candidate should be Qualified or partly qualified through experience in a similar role. Part teleworking/ work from home opportunity is being offered to the right candidate.

The successful applicant, on a full or flexible time  basis, should be willing to revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials as well as being able to provide:

  • Quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, 
  • Coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
  • Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Oversee and complete VAT/Tax returns.
  • Manage accounting department team and duties.

Qualifications

Required

  • Good organisational skills
  • Be computer literate
  • A level in accountancy or diploma

Experience

Required

  • Minimum of 2 year experience in similar role
  • • Knowledge of computer systems including Windows applications required.
